Learning is My Right is a Lebanese nongovernmental organisation that was established in August 2020 through the decree number 956 and was founded by Ali shoura (board advisor) and Dr. Laila Hamwi (LMR President). LMR aims to educate all society members, especially the marginalised individuals. LMR team, which consists of professors, educators, lecturers and volunteers, is dedicated to support all age groups, educationally, psychosocially, and physically to achieve good citizenship, and to empower women to be economically independent.
Our mission is to advocate for educational equity among all individuals in the Lebanese society and worldwide through providing academic and vocational training which are based on differentiated and individualised learning.LMR promotes cooperative methods to meet with the updated educational standards.LMR attempts to empower all society members by enriching their background knowledge.Through literacy programs, LMR targets all age groups to develop and implement minor and major skills that they require to reach proficiency. LMR endeavours to collaboratively integrate information literacy into practice by providing essential training that suits targeted trainees
Our vision is for all vulnerable refugees and people in Lebanon and across the Arab countries specially Syria and Iraq. LMR will support all marginalised age groups who deserve qualitative learning, empower females and males financially by providing them with the essential vocational training.LMR's vision is that society will be developed when all the citizens become educated. Education is a significant tool that guarantees the progress of the nation. This will be reached by coordination between LMR and ministries, and municipalities and civil society.
